My once perfectly worn-in and faded shirt now had an iron-shaped mark on the front, and the iconic band logo was slightly distorted. I couldn’t believe I had made such a rookie mistake. I had always prided myself on taking care of my band t-shirts, especially this one. It held so much sentimental value to me, as it was the first piece of merchandise I had bought at my first joy division concert back in 2020. The thought of ruining it was gut-wrenching. I sighed and tossed the ruined t-shirt onto my bed. What was I going to do now? I couldn’t wear it like this, it would just be a constant reminder of my stupidity.
