Simple sophistication, all day with Strange Planet Oregon Beaver Barista T-Shirt, as I walked through the bustling streets of Portland, Oregon, I couldn’t help but notice the many quirky and unique shops and businesses that lined the sidewalks. In the corner, there was a large display of t-shirts, all featuring the same image of a beaver behind a coffee counter. I couldn’t help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all. “Can I help you?” a voice called out from behind the counter. I turned to see a young woman with bright pink hair and a nose ring smiling at me. “Oh, I was just admiring your…unique

t-shirts,” I replied, still trying to take in my surroundings. The woman introduced herself as Luna, the owner of the Oregon Beaver Barista T-Shirt shop.

She explained that the shop was a passion project of hers, combining her love for coffee and her fascination with beavers. She went on to tell me that each t-shirt was hand-printed by local artists and that a portion of the profits were donated to wildlife conservation efforts in the state. I was intrigued by Luna’s passion and couldn’t resist asking more about the story behind the strange concept of the shop.

She explained that growing up in Oregon, she was always fascinated by the state’s official animal, the beaver.

When the beavers mysteriously disappeared, their legacy lived on through the t-shirts and the name of the shop. Leaving the shop with my own Oregon Beaver Barista t-shirt, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of wonder and appreciation for the strangeness of this planet we call home. Who would have thought that a t-shirt shop featuring beaver baristas could hold such a unique and heartwarming story? As I walked back into the busy streets of Portland, I couldn’t wait to share my strange encounter with others and spread the love for all things weird and wonderful.
